The Alan Belcher 10% Trophy

The Alan Belcher 10% Trophy is an annual golf tournament and dinner dance in Wales celebrating the life of Alan Belcher and raising money for St. David's Foundation, a local cancer hospice.

Alan always lived his life to the full and was a much loved father, son and husband as well as a great friend. He spent most of his working life helping others, initially through his work with disadvantaged children in care and later in his work with disabled adults.

In this spirit, Alan's friends and family get together each year to remember him and to raise money for St David's Foundation, a Welsh charity that helped Alan and his family at a very difficult time. So far, the tournament has raised over £7,000 for St David's Foundation.

The inaugural tournament for the Alan Belcher 10% Trophy was held at Celtic Manor Resort on 25th September 2009. The 2010 tournament was held on 24th September at Parc Golf Club.
